Leto was the daughter of Titans Phoebe and Coeus. She was also one of many goddesses/women that caught Zeus’ attention. Soon enough, he impregnated her, and she gave birth to Apollo and Artemis. During this whole time, she had to deal with jealous Hera.
Fortunately, Leto managed to repell Hera’s attacks and she survived several dangerous situations. After her children have grown up, she retreated to Mount Olympus, where she served as a goddess of motherhood and childhood.
